I'm using the Redtiger (F7N 4K for $118) front and rear dash camera found on Amazon. We have in three of our vehicles and they work great. I hard wire them into the fuse box. Also, they have a hard wire kit that is a must to do this.

The New York Times Wirecutter page has some reviews. I've had luck with their recommendations on things.

I remember when reviews in magazines and the beginning of the world wide web were free and informative without trying to sell a product or advertise frequently. An example was Consumer Reports; an unbiased comparison of all the top brands with scores on quality and longevity.

How are you guys wiring the dashcam?
Hard wire to the fuse box, I believe it was the 7.5 amp slot I used with add a fuse, but don't quote me on that as it was a minute ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the interior fusebox is located behind the OBDII reader
