- 2024 GR Corolla
Got my (unregistered new) 2024 white GR Corolla Core 7/29/25. I've been eyeballing the GR Corolla ever since I first saw it at the NHRA drag races at Sonoma International Raceway when it first came out several years ago. I've always had a manual transmission car. Learned to drive on '61 VW bus, '76 Civic was the first car I bought myself (used), '83 VW GTI was next (new), so I love manuals. Traded in my 2005 Toyota Matrix with 285,000 miles for the GR. Matrix was the best car I ever owned til now. Loved everything about the Matrix except the lack of power, GR solved that problem. I knew the GR was great, but learned how really special it is and decided I wanted to have it. I know there are faster better cars out there, but this is the perfect car for me. Love that most people don't really know what it is. But those that do, appreciate it. I'm not a flashy kind of guy and like that it is a bit of a sleeper, that's why i've want to keep it stock. Did add Megachips splash guards, KN air filter, RAV4 radio volume knob, PPF, a real horn. Couldn't be happier!
